Hi, I'm Ella. I look after your home and garden while you're away.
House sitting, with garden and home in focus. NSW Central Coast and beyond.
Going away? You don't have to leave your home vacant and neglected.
I provide a lived-in presence and green-thumb care for homeowners who want their property tended, not just monitored.
Most house sitting orbits pets. That's well-served. But if your home's main concern is a garden that needs care, and a property that should look genuinely lived in, you're exactly who I'm here for.
Do you need a house sitter for your home and garden?
Holiday home stewardship
Have you checked your home's insurance policy? If a certain period (usually 60 or 90 days) quietly voids theft and malicious damage cover, you and your home could greatly benefit from a GreenSitter.
Not only will I document my presence for you, but you'll have the joy of starting each holiday without a backlog of chores to do. (Your neighbours will thank you too. Enjoy coming back to your beautiful home and community, streetscape still intact.)
Going away on a holiday?
Are you looking forward to your next trip away, but wishing your plants had a proper plan?
Share your watering schedule with me, and I'll keep your plant care rhythms going while you're gone. Enjoy returning to your home and plants with an adventurous glow AND like you never left. (And if your trip's on the longer side, it's worth checking your home insurance vacancy clauses to see if a house sitter benefits you there too.)
Extended trip?
Whether it's long service leave to travel, the big lap in a caravan, working overseas, or an extended trip for family, sometimes your time away is too long for holiday-mode but too complicated for a tenant.
I treat your property like the home it is, keeping the garden, lawn, and lived-in home maintenance ticking over in the rhythm you've set. Come home to continuation, not catch-up. (It's worth checking your home insurance vacancy clauses to see if a house sitter benefits you there too.)
What I'll do for your home
Your home, properly lived in.
A home that's actually occupied looks different. Lights coming on naturally, comings and goings, a car in the drive. Not a smart light on a timer; a real person there.
Your garden, properly tended.
Watering, weeding, mowing. The rhythms that keep a garden thriving, so nothing slips into neglect while you're away.
The small things, handled.
Mail collected, bins out and back. All the little signs that somebody's home.
A real person, on hand.
If something starts leaking or a fence falls in a storm, I'm there to notice and tell you. Not surveillance footage you'd review after the fact.
My GreenSitter service assumes that the average homeowner on an average block spends up to about 4 hours per week maintaining their home: cleaning, mowing the lawn, pulling out weeds, bringing in mail, putting bins in and out. That's what you can expect from me, and it's what produces the lived-in look my GreenSitter service is built around.
About me
I'm Ella, the GreenSitter. Based on the NSW Central Coast (Bateau Bay area), I'm offering my time as a house sitter through 2027.
I work part-time from a home office and part-time as a driver. I'm out and about some of the day but enjoy being present and home in the evenings and overnight.
With a love of gardening and plants, I have previous house sitting experience. While that's been focused on pet care, I noticed a gap. I'd find myself drawn towards wanting to keep the property and garden cared for. And with all the benefit such care would bring to homeowners while they're away, practically and financially, I've wondered why this focus of house sit experience barely exists.
I enjoy the adventure of exploring new pockets of my local area, and the opportunity to go further afield. Filling this house sitting gap with GreenSitting is my perfect fit.
I'm thoughtful with plants and gardens, careful with other people's spaces, and treat every sit like the home it is. Every booking starts with a conversation. We both decide if it's a good fit before anything's locked in.
National Police Check, issued February 2026. Happy to send it through, just ask in your enquiry.
